The Attitude ...

"The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude."

We all have days where everything we attempt 2 do seems 2 go wrong.  Yet how we view those events determines our next steps.  And our next steps can set off a chain reaction that may continue the negative theme or change the outlook 2 an opportunity. Those steps are often directed by our attitude or thoughts.  Our attitude stems from self talk.  What does your self talk look like?  Does it tend 2 lean toward the negative path?  Avoid perpetuating the negative theme.  Turn the negative self talk into positive & productive talk giving less attention 2 the negative.  Give more emphasis 2 the positive & your attitude will begin 2 change its focus as well. That good day is just an attitude away.
U think about that & make it a great day ...

Essential Keys ...

U may be asking yourself the following question. What are the keys to self improvement and motivation?

1. INSPIRATION

Inspiration is critical to staying motivated and improving oneself. If you are not interested in your business, your motivation level will never be high and you will not be able to sustain interest for very long.

Take an honest look at your inspiration level. Are you excited about going to work or is it an obligation? You would be surprised at the number of people who choose a business that looks good on paper, but in reality does not interest them in the least.

Calcium and V-D ...

Here are some of the latest benefits of calcium and vitamin D that are supported by clinical evidence. We have all known that vitamin D is necessary to the absorption of calcium, and crucial to our bone health as well ...

Weight Loss

Over the last few years there has been several studies showing a connection between weight loss and calcium and Vitamin D supplements. One major study of note was recently published in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine by Women's Health Initiative. This study suggests that women who had reached menopause might be able to reduce weight gain by increasing their intake of calcium and vitamin D.1
The theory is that increased calcium and vitamin D effects how the body breaks down and stores fat.

Preventing Osteoporosis ...

Osteoporosis is the result of thinning bone tissue due to a lack of calcium and phosphate. These minerals are integral in normal bone formation and the body uses them to produce its bone tissue. Bone production suffers when a person does not get enough calcium or cannot absorb enough calcium through the diet. Ultimately, if there is not enough new bone produced or there is too much bone reabsorbed by the body, the prognosis probably is osteoporosis. Those afflicted with the disease can simultaneously produce too little new bone tissue and have too much bone tissue reabsorbed by the body. Reabsorbed calcium and phosphate from the bones result in weak, fragile bones. They become so weak that fractures occur in the absence of any trauma or injury.

Increased Muscularity Results in Stronger Bones ...

Hip fractures present one of the greatest concerns for people with Osteoporosis. The latest statistics show that 25% of women over 50 who suffer a hip fracture die within 1 year. Exercise has long been shown to help reduce the risk of hip fractures by increasing bone mineral density while improving core strength and balance.

A recent study suggests that women might also want to pack on the muscle. Researchers at the University of Iowa reported that lower-body muscle mass was a better predictor of hipbone mineral density than either strength or physical activity level.

Seven Minutes a Week Improves Insulin Function ...

A string of studies have been published over the past couple years identifying a strong relationship between High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and reduced cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome risk. High Intensity Interval Training incorporates periods of exercise above 85% VO2max or HRR in alteration with periods of active or passive recuperation. Evidence suggests that smaller amounts of HIIT are more productive than larger amounts of moderate continuous training. No one is sure, however, how little HIIT and at what exact intensity optimize any variable measured.

Last month a study published in the journal Biomed Central Endocrine Disorders indicated that insulin sensitivity may be improved with as little as 7 minutes of exercise per week. Astounding!

Fight Stress with Dark Chocolate ...

High in flavonoids, which are lauded for their relaxing properties (chamomile tea is another great source), chocolate also contains phenethylamine, a chemical that enhances your mood. The darker the chocolate, the more healthy substances you're getting in your diet, so look for bars that are 70 percent cacao or higher.
